Miranda derives from the Latin word "mirandus" meaning "admirable, wonderful". Despite its classical origins, Miranda is a Renaissance name created by Shakespeare for the heroine of his late play "The Tempest". The planet Uranus also boasts a moon named Miranda. This Miranda is a sensation in the Persian show ring, and is my most successful Persian to date.
