Comet is named after a real life Yellow Lab that I grew up with. The real Comet was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) earlier this year and had to be euthanized in June after a long battle with the disease. The show name Interlude Sir Shooting Comet is also in remembrance of Comet as "Sir Shooting Comet" was his AKC registered name.
