The czechoslovakian wolfdog (sometimes called "wolfhound" or "vlak") is a breed of dog that originates from crossing german shepherds with carphatian wolves. Its colouring resembles that of the wolf, but its physique is more like a primtive type of dog. The vlak resembles the saarloos wolfdog, but is overall leaner in body and comes in less colours - while the saarloos may be liver, cream or even white, this breed is always some shade of wolf grey.
The czekoslovakian wolfdog, just like its wild relatives, is a bit on the reserved side and not a beginner's dog, but in the hands of the right owner it can become a reliable service dog.

The head is powerful and rounded, with the muzzle slightly longer than the skull. The ears are set high, rather small and pointed. The tail should be set high and is often carried high and happily.
