The shaved areas follow the same guidelines as for Solid dogs, with the coated areas modified as follows. A dog may have lighter shading only, darker shading only or both.
Lighter shading: When present, required on at minimum the toes/fingers. May also include the paws, higher and/or lower legs - shading may be uneven, with more shading present on the front legs than the hind legs. The light shading can also include the muzzle (may include face as well), front of chest, ears and tail.
Darker shading: May be present on one, several or all of the following: ears, topknot, top of body, tail.

Blue and Silver dogs:
Lighter shading: A lighter shade of the base colour,
